The Body

The 1st Dimension focuses on the fundamentals, which represent the body. We recognize that strength, power, speed, quickness, technique and tactics are foundational to a sport. You have to be good at this. Really good level 1 coaches can win championships. They can also do a lot of damage along the way.

Research shows 85% of coaches only coach in the 1st Dimension.

The Mind

The 2nd Dimension discusses the psychology or the combination of the body and the mind, which we call Dualism. All coaches recognize that attributes such as motivation, emotions, team cohesion, confidence and goal setting are important. But do they have a strategy, do they intentionally coach these? Research shows that 70% of athletes will fail to reach their full potential on and off the field because of 2nd Dimension issues.

Only 10-20% of coaches intentioanlly coach their athletes in the 2nd Dimension.

The Heart

The 3rd Dimension focuses on the heart, which is the executive center of our being. The combination of the body, mind and spirit which we call Holism. People are made up of three dimensions and the best coaches must address and use all three to get the highest performance from their athletes. This means addressing identity, character, signifigance, self-worth, value and purpose. What is your coaching plan to capture the heart of your athletes?

Only 5-10% of coaches have a strategy to coach their athletes in the 3rd Dimension.
